For more than 25 years, Mick Wilson has helped shape Wilson Creek Winery into one of Southern California’s most recognized and beloved wine destinations. A Certified Sommelier, educator, author, and speaker, Mick blends deep wine knowledge with a rare ability to make wine approachable, memorable, and meaningful — whether he’s leading a tasting, training hospitality teams, speaking to business leaders, or exploring the spiritual story behind the vine.
With formal training in business, theology, leadership development, and wine education — and decades of hands-on winery and vineyard experience — Mick brings a perspective that is both grounded and inspiring. His passion is simple: empower people to understand, enjoy, and experience wine in richer, more connected ways.

“I love empowering people at the intersection of wine and faith. There is a spirituality to wine that we often miss in our pragmatic Western culture. The Bible consistently views wine as a gift from God — meant to be enjoyed in celebration and community.
Through short videos, writing, podcasts, and live experiences, I explore the beautiful overlap of wine, vineyards, and spiritual meaning. I combine more than 30 years of hands-on wine experience with over 40 years of ministry leadership as a seminary-trained pastor. My approach is fun, thoughtful, compelling, and deeply encouraging.”
