This wine is a blend of dark earthy grape varietals. The wine’s structure is based on the Tannat and Petite Sirah, its character is Cabernet and the Malbec helps tie it all together with its subtle softness. Pronounced cassis, black currant, and oak spice linger to a thin finish. This Cabernet-based red blend loves grilled dishes, as the charred nature of the meat mirrors the soft tannin in the wine.
2020 Viognier
Data: 91% Viognier, 4% Chardonnay, 3% Sauvignon Blanc, 2% Roussanne
Alc: 14.8, PH: 3.44, TA: 6.3, RS: 0.44
This Viognier has a pronounced straw color with fresh fruit aromas of apricot, peach, honeydew melon, and guava, with a floral background. This wine is full-fruit-forward with flavors of peach, green melon, and a hint of tangerine in the finish. The aromatic and fruit-forward nature of this wine pair well with spicy foods such as Thai cuisine. A great cocktail wine on warm summer nights.
