Restaurant Server
Qualifications
Qualifications include a minimum of four years food service experience with general knowledge of restaurant operations. Wine knowledge a plus, but not required. Valid Riverside County health/food handler cards as required by local or state government agency. Must be available to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
Key responsibilities and requirements:
• Greet all guests and take wine, beverage and food orders in a prompt and professional manner. Prepare food and beverages for service to and present food according to established health and presentation standards.
• Exceed guests expectations by providing better than average service.
• Clear and clean tables in a prompt and efficient manner. Clean and/or wipe down tables, chairs, walls, windows, mirrors, and floors as necessary.
• Perform side-work, and other opening or closing duties as required. Ensure that wait staff stations are clean and maintained throughout shift.
• Receive guest payments and process transactions as outlined in the cash and charge procedures as needed. May assist with other duties as assigned.
• Handling food objects, plates, trays, glasses etc
• Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Bending, stooping and kneeling
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
Restaurant Host/Hostess
Host/Hostess will be responsible for providing fast and courteous service to guests. Schedule restaurant reservations and arranges parties or special service for restaurant guests. Greet guests, escort them to tables and provide menus. Reconcile bills for guests if necessary. Inspect the dining room serving stations for neatness and cleanliness. Valid Riverside County health/food handler cards as required by local or state government agency. Must be available to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
Busser
Qualifications
Bussers or bus people must be able to clear dishes, glasses and silverware from the table after guests leave. They wipe down the table, and reset it for the next guest in an efficient and clean manner. The busser scrapes the dishes, separates the silver, stacks the dishes and takes them in a tub or cart to the dishwashing area.
Will also be required to bring glasses of water to newly seated guests, or fetch an occasional condiment, highchair, etc.. They fold cloth napkins and lay tablecloths on tables that use them. They may wash the tables and chairs, and dust the rest of the dining room. At the end of the day they vacuum, sweep or mop the dining room.
They're often also assigned other jobs like emptying trash cans in the dumpster. Valid Riverside County health/food handler cards as required by local or state government agency. Must be available to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.Must be 18 years or older.
Qualifications Include:
• Ability to effective communicate in a professional and welcoming manner
• Ability to build/maintain a relationship with customers in a short period of time
• Ability to offer explain product features and options for customers to purchase
• Ability to learn and execute point of sale computer software procedures.
• Ability to learn about wines, varietals and winemaking process
• Ability to work with as team member and with a sales team.
• Ability to work in fast paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays.
• Must be 21 years or older for Wine Tasting Host
Wine knowledge preferred by not necessary, wine interest required.
